Garlic Mustard Snack Mix

This is such a perfect snack to throw together if you have friends coming over or if it’s game day, or with the holidays coming up. The gatherings may be smaller this year but snacks still need to happen. It’s also really great if you have any leftover half bags of snacks in the pantry that you need to use up. Toss and bake everything together with a little butter, garlic, mustard and some spices and it’s ready in no time!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole wheat Chex cereal
  • 3 cups pretzel twists
  • 3 cups dry roasted peanuts
  • 2 1/2 cups cheez its
  • 2 1/2 cups goldfish crackers
  • 6 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 2 tsp. granulated garlic
  • 2 1/2 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. white sesame seeds

Directions

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.

In a large bowl add the melted butter, garlic, dried parsley, dry mustard, onion powder, and white sesame seeds. Stir all together until combined. Then add in the Chex cereal, pretzels, peanuts, cheez its and goldfish. Stir it all really good until everything is evenly coated. Pour onto 2-3 baking pans and spread out evenly. I like to toss them with my hands to really make sure everything is coated.

Bake for about 30-35 minutes tossing every 10 minutes. Store in an air tight container for 1-2 weeks.
