Blueberry and Nectarine Crisp

Summer ripe nectarines and juicy ripe blueberries are the star here! Tossed together with a crumbly oat crisp with brown sugar, cinnamon and butter, this is a quick and easy dessert that comes together in no time!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh nectarines, sliced
  • 2 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Oat crisp

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup quick oats
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp. butter, melted

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl toss together the sliced nectarines and the blueberries. Then add in the dark brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon and toss it all together until evenly coated. Pour it out into baking dish.

Then for the crisp in a medium bowl, combine together the brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, salt and melted butter. Mix it all together and spread it out evenly on the fruit. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until the fruit is tender and bubbly and the crisp is golden. Let cool and serve with ice cream! Enjoy!
