Mint Lemonade with Rosewater
I was just recently out in Philadelphia for a wedding and I came across this drink at a market. At first I was curious about the rosewater in it but let me tell you, as soon as I took a sip it was so light and citrusy with a slight floral note from the rosewater. You’re going to want to sit on a patio and drink this all day. I’m sure it would be awesome with a little vodka or Prosecco in it as well.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (7-8 lemons)
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp. rosewater
- 6-8 fresh mint leaves
- ice cubes
Directions
Add all ingredients into a blender and blend to combine until all the mint is pureed into it. Pour over ice and garnish with mint leaves! Now go outside and sit in the sun and everyone will want what you’re having!
-Note- I bought my rosewater from Whole Foods, but you should be able to find it at any Middle Eastern Market or Natural food store.
