Chocolate Swirled Peppermint Bark

Nothing says the holidays more than this little holiday treat!! It comes together in 10 minutes and is so easy. It’s way better than store bought and will just melt in your mouth, plus it’s no bake. It’s the perfect stocking stuffer or gift as well!! I also just dunked it into my coffee and that it is amazing!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz white chocolate, melted
  • 8 oz milk or semi sweet chocolate melted
  • 5 candy canes

Directions

Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper, having some hang over the edges for easy removal.

Place the unwrapped candy canes into a plastic bag and crush them up using a rolling pin.

Melt the white chocolate, either in the microwave on high 30 second burst until melted or using a double boiler over medium low stirring constantly. Once melted stir in 3/4 of the candy canes into the melted chocolate. Pour into the prepared pan and set aside too cool for a couple minutes.

Then melt the milk or semi sweet chocolate, using the same method. Use a spoon or small spatula and drizzle the chocolate over the top of the white chocolate and then using a knife swirl into the white chocolate. Sprinkle the remaining candy canes over the top and place in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes until hardened. Remove from the baking dish and use a knife to cut it up into pieces. Enjoy!!

Store in an air tight container in a cool place for up to three days or the fridge for up to three weeks.

–The best chocolate comes in bar form for melting, it’s just a smoother consistency. But you can use chips if they are on hand.
