Cheese Daweeze
So this recipe has been in my family for as long as I can remember! We make every year around the holidays and it’s the easiest most delicious recipe ever!!! Three….yes Three ingredients, Blue cheese, biscuits and butter. I mean….what better combo! The biscuits get light golden flaky and soak up all the butter and blue cheese it is the absolute best! It would also be fun to add herbs and garlic into it as well. I also really have no idea how we came up with this name but that’s been what we called it forever so it stuck! If you don’t like blue cheese you can sub out for feta or another favorite but I HIGHLY suggest trying the blue cheese first!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks of butter
- 8 oz crumbled blue cheese
- 2 cans of flaky biscuit dough
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Grease a large 9×13 inch baking dish.
In a large saute pan over medium heat melt together the butter and blue cheese. Once it is completely melted pour into the baking dish.
Cut the biscuits into quarter size pieces and separate them all apart. Arrange them into the cheese and bake for about 15-20 minutes until they are puffed up bubbly and golden! Let sit for a couple minutes and then enjoy! I like to serve them with toothpicks so everyone can just pick at them
