Brownie Oreo Ice Cream Cake
With it being so dang hot out, I’m cooling it down with a very indulgent brownie oreo ice cream cake. It was my little guys birthday yesterday, he just turned 4! That sure flew by, but I made all the little 4 year old dreams come true! Rich chocolate brownies, either homemade or store bought, vanilla ice cream, layers of hot fudge and crumbled Oreos. Its rich, chocolatey, decadent all the things! Plus it’s really easy to make. The hard part is keeping your patience in check while it freezes. 😉
Ingredients
- 5-6 squares of brownies, (homemade or store bought)
- 1 qt vanilla ice cream
- 2 cups hot fudge (homemade or store bought)
- 2 1/2 cups oreos
Directions
Line a spring form pan with parchment.
Start with brownies on the bottom layer. Press them into the pan covering the whole bottom. Place in the freezer for about 15 minutes just to firm up. Scoop about 2 cups of ice cream over the brownie layer, and spread it out evenly. Let it freeze again for about 20 minutes. Top ice cream with 1/2 the hot fudge and spread out evenly. Place half the Oreos onto the hot fudge and put back in the freezer for another 15 minutes. Repeat ice cream, and hot fudge layers then finish off with crumbled Oreos on top.
When you’re ready to serve let it sit out for like 5-10 minutes, release from the spring form pan and peel back the parchment paper. Cut into 8-10 slices and enjoy!
