Lemon Garlic Buttered Noodles
You can never go wrong with buttered noodles! Always a family favorite around here. When I was growing up my mom would make buttered noodles with angel hair pasta and butter and it was just the best thing ever, and it still holds a special place in my heart. But these days I’m switching it up making it for my kids. I added some lemon, garlic and parsley to it. Still just as delicious and it just brightens up the whole dish. Its so simple and delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 lb spaghetti pasta
- 6-7 tbsp. unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 tbsp. lemon zest
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 2 tbsp. fresh parsley
- 1/2 tbsp. black pepper
- salt to taste
Directions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook the pasta for about 10-11 minutes, just until al dente.
In a small bowl, add the room temperature butter along with the lemon zest, juice, parsley and black pepper. Use a fork to mix it all together. When the pasta is done drain the pasta. Pour back into the pot or serving bowl and add the butter mixture to the hot pasta. Use a tongs to mix everything evenly. Season with salt, and serve. Enjoy!!
