Apple Crisp
What is it about warm apple crisp? It just feels like a big hug. This is my childhood! My mom used to make this for us all the time in fall apple season growing up. It just brings me right back to childhood. I would sit on the counter and help (or just eat all the crisp). The smell of warm spiced apples just fill the house and then topped with brown sugar and oat crisp, its just the best!

Ingredients
- 4 cups apples, peeled and medium diced (I like McIntosh and Sweet Tango)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Dice up all of the apples and add them into a 9×13 inch baking pan.
Then in a medium bowl mix together the brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon. Mix together until crumbly, then pour in the melted butter and mix it all together. Crumble the crisp on to the top of the apples and place in the oven to bake for about 30 minutes. Let cool slightly and serve with ice cream if you wish.
